operation christmas child

We hope that you're enjoying your week at SonForce Kids Special Agents.  This year, Crosby Chapel VBS is happy to once again be supporting Operation Christmas Child as our Missions focus.  OCC sends shoeboxes around the world to students with personal hygiene items, school supplies, toys, clothing, and information about Jesus in the child’s own language.  Students can support OCC in the following ways:

Pray for the program, and for the children who receive the boxes.

Make a $ donation -- coins are welcome

     Bring in a pre-packed box

Pack a box, in person, at Crosby Chapel

If you are enjoying SonForce Kids Special Agents virtually, but would still like to pack a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child, we are having a packing party at the church on Wednesday, 6 PM to 7:30 PM.  We´ll have boxes and all of the supplies you need.  If you packed a box on your own, you can drop it off then.  There will be popsicles for everyone who stops by–we hope to see you there!

For more information about OCC, and how to pack a shoebox, check out this link.

And, to make things more interesting, this year there will be THREE contestants vying to get a pie in the face!

A special option again this year is to give online to VBS to support OCC. If you go to the online GIVING page and designate VBS (Person 1), VBS (Person 2), or VBS (Person 3) for your giving, they will get credit for the final tally.

Music

Just to get things started, here's all of this year's VBS songs. If you click on "RESOURCES" below each audio link, you can get printable copies of the song lyrics. That can be a Powerpoint Slideshow for the song or you can get a printable page with the lyrics.

You all have decided who will get a pie in the face. The winner is...oh, just watch the video to find out (sorry, no audio for the pie segment, but it's clear what's going on anyway). In case you missed it or just want to watch it again (and again and again...) it will be available here for the next few weeks.
